Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) activists performed the wedding of seven poor couples with full rituals in Nandnagar, Birpur, near 04, Nepal border of Kapilvastu Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. In this event, Shri Ram Jaiswal, Anurag Jaiswal, Pramod Yadav, etc. along with the village head Shri Hanuman Pandey gave their full support. Bicycles were also gifted to married couples in addition to household goods. Plants were also distributed to newlyweds for plantation. Former CM Akhilesh Yadav blessed these couples in his virtual address.

Akhilesh Yadav while addressing the public gathering with married couples said that offering bicycles to married people would be very useful. A bicycle is a means that will speed up life. The bicycle is for all students, farmers, and laborers, poor and unemployed. It leads to self-sufficiency. He told the newlyweds that the faster the paddle in the cycle, the faster it will increase. Balance in life also comes from bicycle riding.

Akhilesh further said that 108 Samajwadi Ambulance Service was started by our government to provide facilities to take the poor to hospital. All facilities were made available in the field of education, health. These systems will benefit the poor more once the socialist government is re-created.
