Lucknow: Amid the political heat of the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the trend of Congress leaders leaving the party has not stopped. After RPN Singh, who was a minister during the UPA government, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former MP Rakesh Sachan has also resigned from the Congress and joined the saffron party. Now speculations of former Congress state president Raj Babbar's return home have also intensified, as the Samajwadi Party (SP) spokesperson has indicated.
SP spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chaand posted on Indian App Koo and wrote, "Former Congress state president, former socialist leader, the actor will soon be Samajwadi." All the three gestures made by Fakhrul Hasan are all pointing towards Raj Babbar. In such a situation, the political speculation of Raj Babbar's decision to take on the SP has intensified, as he has been on the margins since the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in Congress.
