Lucknow: The Yogi government's bulldozer continues to run over the properties of illegal occupants and land mafias in Ghaziabad, UP, adjoining the national capital Delhi. On Thursday itself, illegally constructed houses in the Usman Garhi area were demolished. This occupation was done on the land of the official pond. In fact, in the Usman Garhi area of Dasna Dehat under the Mussoorie police station area, the land mafia had settled a whole illegal colony on the land of the government pond. Houses were built illegally in the area which had become 35 to 40 years old.
Recently, the government had also issued a notice to the owners of the house. Even after that, the houses were not vacated. In this case, the administration has now taken a tough stand and started demolishing the illegal constructions with bulldozers. According to officials, some more houses are also being identified here and action will be taken to raze them down later. This illegal occupation was done by a person named Osman. Land mafia Usman is said to be the leader of the Samajwadi Party. Now the bulldozer of the Yogi government is going on on the spot. SDM Sadar Vinay Kumar, SP Dehat Iraj Raza, Tahsildar, Ghaziabad SP Sadar and administration are present on the spot. A heavy police force is also deployed at the spot so that no one creates any hurdles in this operation.
SDM Vinay Kumar said that three illegal houses were identified. One has just been demolished. The other two houses have been reported to be stayed by the High Court. The administrative officer said that the land of the government pond was occupied.
