New Delhi: Former Team India batting coach Sanjay Bangar could not repeat his tenure. The Board has appointed Vikram Rathore as the new coach of the team. His contract with the Indian team will end with the West Indies tour. There are reports that Bangar may get the role of batting coach in the IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Virat Kohli. RCB franchisees are likely to announce it soon.
The RCB has changed its entire coaching staff for next season. The IPL team, led by Mike Hessan Virat Kohli, who trailed Ravi Shastri in the race for the post of head coach of Team India, has become the Director of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Simon Katich has been added as the head coach. Simon Katich was previously assistant coach of the KKR team. RCB team officials are also ready to work with Sanjay Bangar.
