‘Is there no woman police in Yogiji’s rule?’: Sanjay Raut angry on male cop grabbing Priyanka Gandhi’s kurta

Mumbai: The politics of Hathras gang rape has started intensifying. Today, Shiv Sena senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has strongly targeted the Uttar Pradesh government by sharing a photo of a policeman holding a kurta of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Twitter. Sanjay Raut has questioned the Uttar Pradesh government through his tweet on whether there are no women police officers in Uttar Pradesh.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka had reached out to meet the victim's family along with her brother Rahul and party workers in connection with the incident of gang rape in Hathras, during which the police pushed them away. In the picture Raut has shared, a male police officer is seen holding Priyanka Gandhi's kurta near his shoulder. Raut questioned the Uttar Pradesh government with this picture, 'Isn't there a woman police under Yogiji rule?'

The photo is of Saturday when a delegation of Congress leaders along with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi left for Hathras in their second attempt to meet the victim's family. A girl was gang-raped in Hathras. There has been a lot of anger against the accused since this incident. At the same time, the opposition is engaged in targeting the government on this issue.
