Lucknow: Former Samajwadi Party (SP) MP and mafia Atiq Ahmed, despite having committed all kinds of crimes for the past 40 years, had escaped the clutches of the law and was openly carrying out criminal activities. Political and religious power was present to save Atiq, along with this, his lawyer Khan Saulat Hanif was continuously proving Atiq clean and clear in the courts using Indian law as a shield. But, now after the death of Atiq, his lawyer Khan Saulat Hanif himself has agreed to reveal his secrets and has started spilling everything in front of the police.

According to the report, Khan Saulat Hanif, the lawyer of Mafia Atiq Ahmed, has kept many secrets in front of the police regarding the Umesh Pal murder case. Hanif told the police that in connection with the murder of Umesh, Atiq, Shaista, Asad and Atiq's two sons, Ali and Umar, who were imprisoned in the jail, also knew everything. Hanif confessed to the police that Atiq's wife Shaista Parveen knew every secret about the Umesh Pal murder case. She attended every single meeting. The police have also prepared electronic evidence of the first round of interrogation of Hanif.

At the same time, the police have also found several pictures of Umesh Pal from the iPhone of Atiq's lawyer Khan Saulat, which he had sent to Asad before the murder. Along with this, in order to make himself a government witness, Khan Saulat has also told many secrets of the Umesh Pal murder case and the rift in Atiq Ahmed's family to the police. Earlier, the Dhumanganj police of Prayagraj questioned Khan Saulat Hanif for 12 hours. Prayagraj's CJM court had given police custody to Atiq Ahmed's lawyer. The court had ordered that when Hanif would be questioned, his lawyer would also be present within a radius of 10 metres.

Let us tell you that Khan Saulat, the lawyer who saved Atiq in the courts for years, had told the police that he is ready to become a government witness, but no further action should be taken against him. Khan Saulat wanted to save the benami properties of Atiq Ahmed, bought in his name by becoming a government witness. He was keeping a condition of not registering a case under the Arms Act even in the pistol found from the house. However, the police officers understood his cunning mind trick and his plan to become a government witness failed. Let us tell you that Saulat Hanif has also been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Umesh Pal murder case.
