New Delhi: Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Sourav Ganguly has launched a new education app 'ClassPlusCulture'. It has been claimed that this app will prove to be beneficial for both teachers and students. Former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly created a sensation in a tweet on Wednesday. Ganguly had told fans that he had planned to do something new. After Ganguly's tweet, speculation had started about whether he was joining any political party. But these things didn't prove to be right.

On Wednesday, there was also talk that Ganguly had resigned from the post of BCCI chief. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah had completely rejected such reports, saying that Ganguly had not resigned from the post of president. Ganguly took over as the president of the BCCI in October 2019. Ganguly is the 39th president of the BCCI and his term is till September this year.

Sourav Ganguly is counted among the most successful captains of India. Ganguly took part in 113 Tests and 311 ODI Internationals for India. Stylish left-handed batsman Sourav Ganguly scored 7212 runs in Tests at an average of 42.17, including 16 centuries and 35 half-centuries. He has 11363 runs to his name in ODI Internationals at an average of 41.02. In ODI Internationals, Ganguly has scored 22 centuries and 72 half-centuries.
