Kolkata: The meeting of the Medical Board of the Woodlands Hospital, treating BCCI Chief Sourav Ganguly, was held on Monday morning. After this meeting, the big news has come about Ganguly's second angioplasty. Ganguly, who was admitted in the hospital on Saturday, can be discharged tomorrow i.e. on January 5. At the same time, the date of his angioplasty is not yet determined.
It is noteworthy that Ganguly was admitted to the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata after a mild heart attack on Saturday. Shortly after being admitted, Ganguly underwent angioplasty. Also, it was told that Ganguly had a triple vessel disease, due to which he has to undergo another angioplasty. Meanwhile, many leaders have reached the hospital to know Ganguly's condition. BCCI secretary Jai Shah and former BCCI president and BJP leader Anurag Thakur will also reach Kolkata on Tuesday to meet Ganguly.
It was told in the press conference that a meeting of the no-member medical board took place. Heart Specialists Devi Setty and Ramakanta Panda from Delhi participated in this meeting through video conferencing. Sourav Ganguly is yet to have two angioplasties, but it will not happen at the moment. Doctors are constantly monitoring Sourav Ganguly.
