In 2017, a student of National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur, died three years ago. The age of that student was 21 years old. The student had died under suspicious circumstances, so the matter was quite hot. While hearing this matter, the Supreme Court has ordered the Rajasthan government to complete the investigation within two months. The parents of the deceased student have complained to the court to submit an incorrect investigation report in collusion with some influential people.

According to the media report, the parents of the deceased, dissatisfied with the decision of the High Court, decided to pursue the case. After which a petition was filed in the Supreme Court a few weeks ago. The petition was filed by the judge pleading for justice. In its petition, it was said that Rajasthan Police has taken care in the investigation of this case. The death of his son was described as suicide, while the body had bruises. The deceased's parents have petitioned the court to hand over the investigation to the CBI.

In the petition, it has also been said that no FIR was registered for ten months after the incident. The police has not yet presented the charge sheet. The police has also ignored many important witnesses. On hearing this petition on Thursday, the court has ordered the Rajasthan government to re-examine and present the investigation report to the court within two months.
