On Monday, the Supreme Court has stayed the proceedings in six cases against Salman Khan. The cases are filed in different courts across the country. The court will not hear if the FIR will be cancelled or not. The cases were filed against Salman Khan for supposedly demeaning the Valmiki Samaj.

The court has now given a new date for the hearing, i.e. April 23. The committee published the notice after an ex-chairman of the Delhi Commission for Safai Karamcharis, Harnam Singh filed a charge in this regard.

Harnam Singh in his complaint said that the actor used the word 'bhangi' during TV shows. It clearly insults the entire Valmiki community of the world. Salman had used the word during the promotion of his film 'Tiger Zinda Hai' at a reality dance show.

Meanwhile, recently the actor got relieved from the blackbuck case from Jodhpur, after allegedly he murder two blackbucks during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hai movie. Including the superstar, other accused, Tabbu, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari has also got bail by the court. Before this Salman had also found guilty in a drink and drive case in which he again got bailed. Right now Salman is busy in shooting for his upcoming movie.
