New Delhi: Schools and colleges have opened in several states of the country in view of the steady decline in corona infection cases. In the same vein, the country's capital Delhi is also returning to schools from today (September 1, Wednesday). In fact, from today, schools in Classes 9 to 12 in Delhi are opening back. In Uttar Pradesh, primary class schools will also be started from today. However, it is mandatory to follow the corona protocol during this time.

Of course, schools in classes 9th to 12th are being opened in Delhi from today with a capacity of 50 percent, but the Delhi government has made it clear that no student will be forced to participate in classes physically, many schools in the national capital have also opted for a 'wait-and-watch' strategy to see how the situation progresses before calling all their students. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) had also issued guidelines for reopening the school on Monday.

According to this, only 50 percent of the students in classes have been allowed to wear masks and maintain social distancing. In addition, thermal screening has been made mandatory. Lunch breaks will be in the open to follow social distancing. Classes will have a seating arrangement for students by distance. Students, teachers, and non-teaching staff living in the Covid-19 cantonment zone will not be allowed to attend classes physically as per DDMA guidelines.
