Patna: After applying the corona vaccine to health workers in the first phase in Bihar, the second phase of vaccination is starting from today. In the second phase vaccination program, frontline workers will be vaccinated with the corona. In frontline workers, police, administrative staff and people related to the civil organization will be vaccinated. For the second phase vaccination program, more than 2 lakh frontline workers have registered themselves on the Co-win app.

Police, administrative staff, and people belonging to the civil organizations as well as officials of NDRF and SDRF working in the state will also be vaccinated in the second phase. Only in Patna district, more than 74000 frontline workers have registered themselves on the Co-win app. In the first phase vaccination program, which started on January 16, 353458 health workers have been administered the first dose of corona vaccine so far.

Interestingly, both covishield and covaxin vaccines are being vaccinated in Bihar, but out of the total number of health workers who have been vaccinated so far, 342523 have been given covishield doses, while only 10935 health workers have been vaccinated with covaxin Has gone.
