Hyderabad: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Saturday that the nation's security is the force's top concern, and that it is fully dedicated to securing it. Singh also highlighted that the government has prioritised self-reliance in defence manufacturing and preparedness while speaking at the Diamond Jubilee conference of Chetak Helicopters in Hyderabad.

"I tell my fellow citizens that national security is our top concern, and we are totally dedicated to guaranteeing it. In light of recent events, our administration has placed a premium on self-reliance in defence manufacturing and readiness. We've experienced a lot of issues recently in terms of guaranteeing supply lines "he stated.  "The burden of protecting a vast country like India cannot be placed on the shoulders of other countries for long," the Minister said, adding that "we must strengthen our own shoulders to protect ourselves."

"If world peace is to be maintained, then the security of nations is paramount, and for their protection, it is critical to be militarily powerful," the Defence Minister stated.  Singh underlined that in recent years, the central government has established an atmosphere in which forces, scientists, and military planners may think "pro-actively."

"Our services, research and development organisations, and public and private sector enterprises have all responded positively. Together, our SMEs, start-ups, innovators, and academia are investigating new defence manufacturing paths "said the Minister of Defense.
