The son of CM Ashok Gehlot's very special and powerful state minister Mahesh Joshi has been accused of rape by a woman journalist. A zero FIR has been lodged in this case at The Sadar Bazar police station in Delhi. The case has been transferred to Jaipur. The woman journalist said that the minister's son was beaten up and forced to have an abortion.

The woman journalist has also accused Rohit Joshi, son of minister Mahesh Joshi, who is considered close to Ashok Gehlot, of assault and blackmail. The woman journalist alleged that the criminal used to come to her house and is also threatening to kill her family members. The woman journalist has also accused the son of a powerful minister of the Rajasthan government of having taken obscene videos and photographs of him in an inebriated state. According to the allegation, Rohit had started threatening the woman journalist to make the video and picture viral if she refused to listen to her.

In the complaint given to the police on behalf of the victim, it has also been alleged that Rohit Joshi used to threaten her and her family. He also said that the police could never do anything to him. The victim is now seeking justice from the police. According to the victim, she came in contact with Rohit on Facebook. According to reports, a notice has also been issued to minister Mahesh Joshi and others in the alleged phone tapping case in March this year. He was asked to appear on March 16. It is worth noting that in July 2020, the Sachin Pilot camp revolted against Chief Minister Gehlot. After which the Gehlot government had accused the BJP of buying and selling MLAs.
