Banks to remain closed for 17 days: RBI has released the list of official bank holidays for the month of November according to which there are 17 holidays in the month of November. Meanwhile, banks in many cities of India are going to remain closed continuously.  Where it is revealed that this 17-day holiday includes weekly holidays. According to RBI guidelines, banks are scheduled to remain closed on Sundays as well as the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, RBi declared leave on November 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19, 22 and 23. There are also four Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays in the month.
