New Delhi: Protests over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) continue unabated in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh. Here some protesters are trying to meet the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on this issue, while there is a section which is opposing this. In this case, the protesters are seen dividing into two parties.

Even before this, differences have emerged between the protesters of Shaheen Bagh on ending the picket. During the ongoing protest on the beach road in Shaheen Bagh, around 11 am on Saturday morning, a protestor named Asif Stormani announced that we are ready to meet Amit Shah and we will go to Amit Shah to meet the Dadis. Some women objected to Stormy's statement. A protesting woman said, who is the only one to decide.

He said that this demonstration is of all people and I will not go to meet. But if the elderly people decide that they should go, then we are ready for it. A meeting is going on in Shaheen Bagh on this issue, in which the issue is being discussed. Here a section is adamant on not going to meet the Home Minister. There are some people who are saying that if they go to meet Amit Shah, all will go. Sources said that it will be decided after the meeting whether to meet Amit Shah or not.
