In the entertainment sector, Shailesh Lodha is a name that needs no introduction. Because he is a talented poet, actor, comedian, and writer, he has won the hearts of his followers. For more than 20 years, he has been providing his audience with entertainment. His portrayal of Taakak Mehta in the television programme Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has made him very well-liked by the public. On the show, he portrayed Jethalal, Dilip Joshi's best friend, and their friendship was well-liked. In a recent interview with RJ Siddharth Kanan, Shailesh Lodha discussed his thoughts on participating in Bigg Boss and other topics.

Shailesh Lodha was asked if he would think about competing on Bigg Boss, but he politely declined. He said that each person should be aware of their limitations. "I don't think I am strong enough to be a part of a show like Bigg Boss," he admitted. It requires a unique commitment, which I am unable to make.

Shailesh Lodha previously admitted in a statement that he doesn't enjoy the humour on programmes like The Kapil Sharma Show. Feel months earlier, he had graced the programme, which caused tongues to start wagging about him turning against his words. He received a tonne of social media trolling for attending the show.

When questioned about it, Shailesh admitted that while he did agree that he did not like this type of comedy, he did not specifically mention any one person. He continued by saying that he promoted Hindi literature on the programme and that it was the first time in a comedy show that he had read a poem while the audience was moved to tears. The Taarak Mehta actor revealed that he has a lot of respect for Kapil Sharma as an artist and that the two of them are also close friends. The statement, he continued, was not at all about Kapil.

As a contestant on Comedy Circus and later in Comedy ka Mahamukabla, Shailesh Lodha launched his career in show business. From 2008 to 2022, he continued to perform as Taarak Mehta in the sitcom series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Wah! Wah! is one of his other programmes. Hello, Baat! Waah Bhai Waah as well.
