Hyderabad: The accused of gang rape and subsequent murder of a female Veterinary doctor in Hyderabad have been piled into an encounter by the police. Police say that the accused snatched weapons from the police and opened fire on them and the police retaliated in self-defense.

DCP Shamshabad Prakash Reddy told the media that, the Cyberabad police had taken the accused to reconstruct the incidents at the crime spot. Meanwhile, the accused snatched arms from the police and opened fire on the police .. Reddy further said that the police retaliated in self-defense in which all the accused were killed. It is worth mentioning that in the early hours of Friday, all four accused who raped and murdered a young female Veterinary Doctor were killed in an encounter near Shadnagar.
The accused were killed when they tried to escape from Chatanapalli near Shadnagar, about 50 km from Hyderabad. The four accused were killed in an encounter at the same place where they burnt the dead body on the night of November 27 near Shamshabad, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, after committing suicide.
