Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs has been pleasing and entertaining the viewers for more than a decade now. With the enormous success of the past eight seasons, the makers of the singing reality show are back with the new season this year. The singing reality show offers a huge platform for new singers to present their craft on the national level. As per recent developments about the upcoming season, Shankar Mahadevan has been confirmed being one of the judges of the show.

Shankar Mahadevan, who has been an internal part of the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa show, has been roped in for the first time to judge a season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs. One of the most adored singers and composers of the Indian Music Industry, who has given infinite record-breaking albums to the music industry. He will now be seen grooming and mentoring young skillful kids and helping them achieve their dreams of becoming top-notch composers and singers.

On judging the show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, Shankar said, “I am happy and excited to be a part of this classic singing reality show. While I have judged various seasons of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, this is the first time I will be the judge of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs, and I am looking forward to it. I am excited to prepare these young kids into star singers of tomorrow. I have seen how this show has been a big platform for various young talents over the years and I surely think that giving young kids a chance to showcase their skills is really vital. Starting from a young age will really help the kids grow, learn and make a mark in the music industry quite early on. The auditions have already begun in the country. While the online auditions have been a big hit, on-ground auditions will also take place in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Nagpur, Lucknow, Indore, Kolkata, Jaipur, and Chandigarh starting from 2nd August.
