Chennai: Former India bowler Shanthakumaran Sreesanth is going to return to cricket again at the age of 37. He will be seen playing for Kerala in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy to be held in January 2021. Today, the officials of the Kerala Cricket Association have given him the cap of Kerala. Explain that Sreesanth had stayed away from cricket for seven years due to allegations of spot-fixing in IPL 2013. His ban was completed only in September 2020. Two days ago, Sreesanth had told that several IPL teams have inquired about his playing in this tournament. In such a situation, he has indicated that he can play again in the IPL if given the chance. Let us know that he last played IPL for Rajasthan Royals in the year 2013. He has 40 wickets in 44 matches.

In a conversation with the media, Sreesanth said that coaches Tinu Yohanan and Sanju Samson say that they want to give him a gift trophy during his return. But he himself wants to play in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as well as Irani and Ranji Trophy. Sreesanth says that the eyes are set on the next three years. His goal is to play the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
