New Delhi: Delhi Police's Special Cell has arrested Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) PhD scholar Sharjeel Imam in connection with the riots in northeast Delhi in February. Sharjeel Imam was booked under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). On Sunday, he was brought from Assam to Delhi under a production warrant.

In this 600-page charge sheet filed in Patiala House Court in Delhi, charges were registered under sections 124A, 153, 505 of the IPC and Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities Act 1967.
