New Delhi: A video of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is going viral on the internet. In the video, an alumnus of JNU is speaking on the platform to break the country. Talking about separating Assam from Hindustan. Controversy has arisen over this video because BJP leaders have presented it as Shaheen Bagh.

According to the exclusive information we received, this video is not from Shaheen Bagh but from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. Aligarh Police has also given full mention of Sharjeel's statement in the FIR. In which Sharjeel made a provocative statement of breaking the North-East in protest against the citizenship law of the students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) running at Babay Sayed Gate.

According to the FIR, this statement was given on 16 January. The video was received by the Aligarh police through social media. Which was investigated and then an FIR was registered. The FIR states that Sharjeel is accused of spreading hatred against the army and the Indian government, attempting to endanger India's unity and integrity and spread communal hatred. In this case, an FIR has been registered in the civil police station under section 124A (sedition) 153A, 153B, 505 (2) of the IPC.
