According to the sources, on the morning of 29 December 2019, when the priest reached the cave for Aarti, he offered prayers to Lord Shiva. As soon as the priest came out after the aarti, a heavy rock fell at the entrance of the cave and the cave was closed. Due to this, devotees waiting for darshan have to feel discouraged. On the other hand, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has stopped the movement towards this cave at present. Even after almost 11 days have passed, the rock has not been removed yet.
