New Delhi: Singapore has arrested three domestic helpers of Indonesian origin under stringent security laws for their alleged involvement in giving money to the terrorist organization Islamic State (IS). No case has been tried on them. The government said that this incident of arresting foreign domestic helpers allegedly created by extremists shows that jihadis are constantly appealing for violent ideology.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has stated that the three domestic helpers had been working in Singapore for six to 13 years. She became a supporter of IS after watching online content last year. He watched videos of IS bombings, beheading. Anindia Afanengi (33), Retno Henayani (36) and 31-year-old Turamini came online to contact foreign-minded foreigners supporting the IS. Officials said the three accused also provided funds to foreign organizations for terrorism-related purposes, activities of organizations like ISIS and JAD.
