Jaipur: The new Omicron variant of corona is spreading rapidly in Rajasthan. 3 new cases of omicron variants have been registered in the state in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 59 new cases of covid infection have been detected in the state. It is clear from the ever increasing data in the state that in the last one month, the new variant of the virus has now entered 4 districts Omicron and earlier delta variants spread to 19 districts.

According to information provided by the Medical Department, 3583 samples of omicrons have been taken so far in the state, followed by a positivity rate of 1.3 per cent. The state medical and health department has also reported that two of the new patients from Omicron are from Jaipur and one from Udaipur. These include people who came in contact with an infected patient. All of them have been shifted to the special ward of the Omicron.

On the other hand, when it comes to corona cases, the new cases detected in the state on Monday evening include 30 cases in Jaipur, 4 in Sikar, 7 in Ajmer, 4 from Udaipur and one from Maharashtra. Of these, 37 have been recovered. On the other hand, in view of the increasing cases of corona, the state government has issued new guidelines to district collectors asking them to focus on testing, vaccination and ensure that people follow proper covid rules.
