Lucknow: The skeleton of an elderly woman has been found in a mansion in the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh. The woman lived alone in this house and was unmarried. This mansion belongs to the woman's father. On Thursday (February 16) when the woman's stepbrother from Ghaziabad reached there to meet her, he informed the police when the door did not open. The police entered inside by breaking the door. The skeleton of a woman was found in the back room. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.
According to the report, this incident is of the Hariparvat police station area. Inspector Hariparvat Arvind Kumar has informed that Ranveer, a resident of Loni, Ghaziabad, called the police at around 12:30 pm. Ranveer told that he had come to meet his 65-year-old sister Nirmal. When the door did not open, the police were informed. The lock of the main gate was locked from inside. After this, 2 youths jumped inside the gate and broke the lock. When the police reached inside, there was a foul smell in the house. Nirmal's skeleton was found in the back room. It is suspected that the woman died several days ago.
Inspector Hariparvat has informed that neighbors and nearby shopkeepers have been questioned. People told that they had seen Nirmal 15 days ago. She used to live alone in this mansion and did not have any relation with anyone. She didn't even talk. The mansion is very old. Brother Ranveer told the police that his father Gopal had married twice. He is from his first wife. Nirmal was from the second wife. She didn't even keep her mobile with her. He used to come to Agra once in two-three months to meet his sister and then leave. The police are assuming that Nirmal died due to illness.
