Patna: In Bihar, the scope of covid infection spread to 32 districts, and 211 new covid infectives were identified on Friday. A day earlier, 258 new covid infectives have been identified in the state. In the information received from the Ministry of Health, if more than 10 infected were found in 5 districts of the state, less than 10 new infected were found in the remaining districts.
According to the information received from the Health Department, a maximum of 68 new covid infected were identified in Patna. While 12 new infections have been identified in Muzaffarpur, 13 in Bhagalpur, 12 in Gaya, 16 in Jehanabad. In the last 24 hours, 51,662 samples were tested in the state. So far, corona tests of 2 crores 34 lakh 26 thousand 834 samples have been done in the state. The number of active corona infected patients has increased to 1000 in the state. So far 1569 covid infectives have died in the state. So far 2,64,409 corona infects have been identified in the state and of these, 2, 61, 839 have become healthy after treatment. In the state, 133 infected patients recovered after treatment in the last 24 hours.
On Friday, one lakh 961 people were given the Corona vaccine: It is also being said that in the state, one lakh 961 people have been given the Corona vaccine on Friday. These include both the first and second dose takers. According to the information received from the department, 95 thousand 47 people took the first dose of vaccine on Friday, among those who have been vaccinated. The number of people taking the second dose is 5 thousand 914. There are 80 thousand 425 people over the age of 60 taking the first dose. 10 thousand 736 people aged 45 to 59 took the vaccine today.
