On social media, actor and Bigg Boss host Salman Khan has come under fire from Sona Mohapatra. The singer accused the host of "whitewashing" Sajid Khan, who participated in the popular reality show and has been accused of sexual misconduct and has been a vocal critic of it. Sona mentioned in her most recent tweet that she and Salman have previously had Twitter arguments.

Sona Mohapatra tweeted on Wednesday, referring to Salman and his charitable organisation Being Human, that he had been "whitewashing his own toxic masculinity for aeons with #BeingHuman despite being anything but; yes, my old foe in twitter wars; #SalmanKhan." carries on the BRO-whitewashing. HOOD's Sajid Khan (Btw, his gifting of watches, food trucks, and surgeries is simply more virtue signalling.)

Sona has previously expressed her disapproval of Sajid's participation in Bigg Boss 16. Sajid Khan can be seen right now on a reality TV programme. Then there is #AnuMalik, who is a judge on a children's music reality TV show. #KailashKher? TV celebrity judge. MANY, MANY women in the #IndiaMeToo movement called them out. When the news of Sajid's participation first surfaced earlier this month, she tweeted, "Indian TV channels, executives are indeed a depraved and sad lot.

A few years ago, at the height of India's MeToo movement, Sajid Khan, a director best known for the Housefull series, was the target of numerous sexual assault and harassment allegations made by a few women. As a result, the director of Housefull 4 was fired and replaced by Farhad Samji.

In relation to the allegations of sexual assault made against Sajid, he is accused of watching porn in front of women, flashing his privates at parties, requesting nude photos from female actors during the casting process, and more. His participation in Bigg Boss has drawn criticism from some, who see it as a form of rehabilitation for him and claim it will inflame the emotions of the many women who have spoken out against him.
