New Delhi: Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi has gone abroad for treatment. Rahul Gandhi has also gone with him to take care of him. Sonia is said to have gone to USA for routine check-ups. According to party sources, Sonia Gandhi left for the US on Saturday morning. Sonia Gandhi will not be present during the monsoon session of Parliament beginning Monday. Rahul Gandhi has informed the Lok Sabha speaker in this regard.

Congress national spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala has tweeted and informed about the same. According to information, Sonia Gandhi will return in about two weeks while Rahul Gandhi will return in a week. It is possible that Rahul should also participate in the parliament session. It may be noted that Sonia Gandhi had made a major change in the Congress organization on Friday before going to the US. Earlier, the Congress president had been admitted to Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi on 30th August for routine checkup. She was discharged from the hospital on September 2.

Let us tell you that the monsoon session of Parliament is going to come from Monday. The parliament session will continue to be changed considerably this time due to the Coronavirus epidemic. During the session, special rules have been framed for the persons present in the Parliament premises. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has also said that the session will be challenging this time.
