Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar will soon enter Maharashtra's active politics. Yes, the Shivar Sena, the ruling party in Maharashtra, has sent a name to the Governor to make Urmila Matondkar a member of the Legislative Council. The Maha Vikas Aghadi Government of Maharashtra has sent a list of 12 names to the Governor, who is made a member of the Legislative Council. The name of actress Urmila is included in this list itself. According to media reports, the names of 4-4 people have been sent from every party on behalf of the coalition and the name of Urmila has also been sent by Shiv Sena to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari. Along with the actress, many people like Eknath Khadse, Rajni Patil are involved, where it is learned that the actress's career in politics is not long. The actress entered politics even before the Lok Sabha elections 2019 and she joined the Congress.

After which Urmila contested from North Mumbai seat under Congress banner, although she had to face defeat in front of BJP's Gopal Shetty. He later resigned from the Congress and accused the Congress of using him. Now the actress is going to be a member of Maharashtra Legislative Council on behalf of Shiv Sena.
