Lucknow: Leader of the Opposition in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council and Samajwadi Party (SP) MLC Lal Bihari Yadav has made a hue and cry by making obscene remarks on Lord Shiva in the Gyanvapi case. There is anger among the people when the video of which has come out. The SP leader dismissed the 'Shivlinga' found in Gyanvapi, saying, "Lord Shiva was a man or a stone? There was the stone that got the &** of Shiva. If Shiva had been the Linga, he would have melted. Wherever Lord Shiva's *** has fallen, it must have been of flesh and bone, there must have been a melt of stone, which would have been lying there.''

 

Journalist Shubhankar Mishra shared the video of Lal Bihari Yadav on Twitter and wrote, "SP's MLC Lal Bihari Yadav's shockingly disgusting remarks on 'Lord Shiva'. A comment that hurts the faith of crores of Hindus. Will Akhilesh Yadav expel such a dirty person from the party?' There is a demand for action against Lal Bihari Yadav, who insulted Lord Shiva. Opposition to his statement has also started on social media. In protest against his disgusting remarks, Hindu Yuva Vahini activists led by district convener Amit Shrinate have also burnt the effigy of SP MLC Lal Bihari Yadav.

According to a media report, the Hindu Yuva Vahini says that Lal Bihari Yadav has hurt the sentiments of Hindus. He apologized for that. If they do not apologise, the Hindu Yuva Vahini will continue to protest by holding extensive demonstrations. Lal Bihari Yadav also defended the Kanpur incident and has cited BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma's inflammatory speech as the reason for the violence. According to the report, the SP leader has also said that BJP people create riots by speaking like this. The BJP government's issue is Hindu-Muslim, mandir-masjid, they have nothing to do with development.
