Indore: Former UP CM and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said on Thursday that his party will contest the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh. Discussing with the media, he said, "After UP, our organisation is strong in Madhya Pradesh, and here we will contest the upcoming assembly elections." It should be noted that assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are to be held later this year.

Regarding the politics of various parties focused on Dalits and tribals, he said that the question is not whether Dalits and tribals will survive or not, but whether the constitution will. Will there be a voting law in a democracy or not? Attacking the Centre, he said that today the government is making a law so that everything goes into private hands." He said, "If it goes into private hands, what will happen to the recommendations of Babasaheb Ambedkar and the Mandal Commission? BJP is showing false dreams. Shouldn't there be talk on unemployment today?" He said that I don't know about Madhya Pradesh, but ITC and other private companies have bought wheat from Uttar Pradesh. Now when people go to buy flour, these companies will benefit.

He said that the farmer was being cheated. When asked about SP joining the opposition grand alliance, Akhilesh said, "It is a big question. What name are you giving to this alliance? But I know that the people of UP will remove the BJP from power." He further said that the people of the country now want a change in the government. It should be noted that Akhilesh's statement came a day after Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday.
