Special medical camps in villages to check malaria, dengue: Officer Praveen Aditya

Rampa Agency: Rampachodavaram ITDA Project Officer Praveen Aditya inspected the Village Secretariat, Rythu Bharosa Kendras (RBKs) and Anganwadi Centers in Akunuru village of Rampa Agency on Friday. He said that they are taking precautionary measures to curb malaria and dengue in the agency. 

To prevent the spread of diseases like dengue, malaria, special medical camps have been set up in remote villages, so that people from far flung areas can get treatment and prevent the spread of these diseases. He appealed to the people to maintain cleanliness around them and maintain cleanliness around their homes. He advised them not to ignore the seasonal fever and attend the medical examination at their nearest PHC in the agency.

He directed the medical officers to ensure that pregnant women in the agency attend the hospital for peaceful delivery ten days before delivery. He directed the officers to enter the details of all the applications in the respective register of village secretariats. He directed to supply milk, eggs, groundnuts etc. from time to time to all the children coming to Anganwadi centers on behalf of the government.
