Durgapur (West Bengal): A SpiceJet flight from Mumbai to Durgapur in West Bengal was suddenly hit by a storm. According to the information received, the aircraft was about to land at Durgapur airport when it faced the storm. Due to this, the luggage started falling from the cabin of the plane.

It is said that 40 passengers were injured in the accident. However, the problem was that the Pilot made a safe landing of the plane at the airport. All the injured passengers were treated at the airport, with 185 passengers on board. A statement issued by SpiceJet said, "The Boeing B737 aircraft managed to land safely and the injured were given medical assistance. The passengers were taken to the nearest hospital if needed. In West Bengal, the pilot had given a seat belt sign when there was chaos in the aircraft due to bad weather.''

At the same time, according to sources, some passengers were also injured after being hit by the food trolley. It is being told that SpiceJet has expressed regret over the unfortunate incident and provided all possible medical assistance to the injured. At the same time, in this case, the officials said that the aircraft is still at Durgapur airport.
