Sri Lanka: Protesters claim they find millions of rupees in President's house

The  protesters in Sri Lanka who stormed  President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's official residence have claimed to have recovered millions of rupees inside his house.  According to a report by Sri Lanka-based Daily Mirror, the recovered money was handed over to the security units. 
On Saturday, With the demand for President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's resignation, Protesters stormed into the President's house, tore down security cordons placed by police, took a dip in the swimming pool and romped through his kitchen and home.
Video of several  protesters counting loads of money is going viral on different social media platforms while various other videos have been going  viral where thousands of protesters stormed his official residence in the capital of Colombo, forcing him to flee to an unknown location.
Sri Lankan Minister of Tourism and Lands Harin Fernando and Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara said they have decided to step down from their ministerial portfolios with immediate effect.
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Gen. Shavendra Silva, after the incident on Saturday  has appealed to the citizens to support the Armed Forces in maintaining the law and order situation in the country.
About President Gotabaya
The President's location is still not known.  Parliament Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, who announced late Saturday night that the President would resign on Wednesday. President Rajapaksa informed the Speaker about this decision to quit after Mr. Abeywardena wrote to him seeking his resignation following the all-party meeting of leaders held Saturday evening.
