New Delhi: Hearing took place in the apex court on the issue of migrant workers on Friday. During this period, several states including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh gave information regarding the status of migrant laborers in their own place. The lawyer presented on behalf of the Gujarat government said that this case does not require any more detailed investigation. Out of 22 lakhs, 2.5 lakhs are left. 20.5 lakhs have been sent back.

At the same time, the Maharashtra government said that more than 11 lakh migrants have gone back. Now 38000 are left. Delhi said that there are 2 lakh workers right now, out of which less than 10 thousand people want to go home. At the same time, the UP government said that we have not taken rent from any laborers. The Yogi government of UP said that we worked on two levels. The first to bring back the workers and send the workers present here. We sent 1.35 lakh laborers for 104 special trains. There is no one in the state who wants to go back home. Many people of UP are working in the rest of the country.

Yogi govt said that we transported 5.50 lakh laborers from Delhi border to their home. For this, buses have put more than 10 thousand trips. At the same time, the Bihar government said that 28 lakh laborers have returned to the state, out of which skill mapping of 10 lakh people has been done. Now steps are being taken to give them employment.
