In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday, 34 important proposals have been approved. The proposal for the expansion of Lucknow and Varanasi Municipal Corporation including industrial development has been approved in the meeting.

According to the media report, after the cabinet meeting, the spokespersons of UP government Shrikant Sharma and Siddharth Nath Singh told that the cabinet has approved 34 important proposals. Five proposals of the Industrial Development Department were passed in the cabinet, in which the proposal to release funds to five units has been passed. Under this, the Cabinet has approved an amount of Rs 300 crore. Defense Expo to be held in Lucknow in February 2020. For this, Industrial Minister Satish Mahana will inspect the venue.

In his statement, he said that many companies have shown interest in defense in UP. For this, a defense policy will now be brought. 25 % land subsidy will be given for the defense corridor. We will give them a transport subsidy for developing complete water supply fencing and all infrastructure. 100% defense subsidy will be given in stamp duty. Apart from this, the proposal for the seventh amendment in the Rules 1978 of the recruitment and conditions of service of teachers of Uttar Pradesh privately aided basic school passes. The recruitment process has been revised in non-government aided junior high schools.
