Melbourne: The organizers of a racist protest in Australia gathered 20,000 protesters in central Melbourne on Saturday and took out a rally. After which police have warned the organizers of the Stop Black Death in Custody rally that a coronavirus ban on large-group gatherings could lead to a fine of more than $ 1600 each if they proceed with Saturday's protest.

On Friday, Victoria's police force, Premier and Chief Health Officer all asked people not to attend the Melbourne rally, while the Prime Minister and Federal Health Minister on Saturday urged them not to participate in the protests across Australia. Deputy Commissioner Shane Patton, who was nominated as the new Chief Commissioner of the state this week, said police were requesting the organizers to walk up to Parliament House at 2 a.m. to dismiss the Black Lives Matter rally.

Earlier, Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton said on Friday that Victoria's attempt to suppress the coronavirus could cause water to run through a planned rally, as thousands of people were expected to attend the rally. But representatives of the resistance group, who have organized demonstrations to highlight the tribal deaths in custody and the death of George Floyd, a Minneapolis man at the hands of police, have vowed to continue to urge protesters to exercise caution.
