The Ministry has also informed that the number of people who have recovered in the last 21 days has doubled. More than 74% of patients in the country have recovered from corona infection.

The Health Ministry tweeted on Saturday morning, "Through testing, early detection, effective treatment, monitoring, home isolation and quality medical care have benefited." At the same time, due to the new policy measures, the recovery has increased by 100% in 21 days. This number has increased to 15 lakh 83 thousand, while by 21 August 21 lakh 58 thousand people have been cured of infection.

On Friday, a record 62,282 corona infections have been cured in the country, causing the country's national average corona recovery rate to rise to 74.30 per cent from 74 per cent. The total number of people who have become infection free in the country has increased from 21 lakh to 21,58,946. So far the gap between the number of disease-free persons and the number of active cases of infection has increased to 14,66,918. The corona recovery rate is more than 50 percent in the 33 states and union territories of the country. Continuous testing is being extended in the country to detect corona virus corona infection.
