On Wednesday, forest officers in the Sonitpur district of Borsola village captured a tiger that had escaped from the Orang National Park.

According to sources, a tiger that was wandering freely in Borsola village in Sonitpur district and had strayed from the Orange National Park was captured and imprisoned, causing panic among the Borsola residents. The tiger wandered away from the Orang National Park in search of food. For several days, the tiger that had lost its way had been wandering and roaming among the Borsola villages like a local street dog.

Despite the forest department's and authorities' best efforts to catch the tiger as quickly as possible, the tiger was not captured Moreover, due to the tiger's fear, the residents of Borsola village were unable to leave their homes and commute freely.

On Wednesday, forest officials were able to catch the tiger, bringing comfort to the inhabitants of Borsola hamlet. The tiger was only trapped on the first try, according to the forest authority. The tiger was now given a tranquillizer and was taken to a confined area for a complete health examination. According to his health report, he will either be returned to the forest or taken to the zoo, depending on his health.
