Kerala- Thiruvananthapuram: BJP leader and former Union minister Subramanian Swamy has demanded that the LDF government in Kerala be removed following the death of BJP leader Ranjith Sreenivasan, who was hacked to death on Sunday morning allegedly by SDPI workers.
He urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to act immediately and dismiss the Kerala government for the state's failure to maintain law and order. Swamy, a former Union minister and Member of Parliament, was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the 51st Brahmin Sabha conference in Palakkad on Sunday. He said that those who killed Ranjith Sreenivasan were terrorists, and that the state should not be allowed to serve as a safe haven for such terrorists.
Subramanian Swami also demanded a ban on the Popular Front of India (PFI), the SDPI's ideological wing, claiming that the PFI's goal is to convert India into an Islamic state. He stated that those attempting to Islamize the state should travel to Pakistan.
