On Thursday, US President Joe Biden arrived in Colorado to attend the graduation ceremony of the US Air Force Academy. During this, Biden faltered and fell on the stage. The good thing is that Biden did not suffer much injury. A statement issued by the White House said Biden was doing well. After that, officials standing next to Biden quickly handled him and helped him stand back.

Biden, 80, addressed the event in Colorado. Thereafter, as they proceeded to shake hands with the graduates, they fell near the podium placed on the stage. Biden was immediately handled by Secret Service and Air Force officers standing nearby and helped him stand back. However, Biden then appeared to walk without any support. He took part in the rest of the ceremony and also gave a standing ovation to the people.

In fact, as Biden was moving forward after delivering his address, he collided with a black sandbag kept there. This sandbag was kept to accommodate his teleprompter. Biden also pointed to the sandbag after standing up. White House Communications Director Ben Labolt tweeted a video of the incident and wrote, "They are fine. When he was shaking hands, he collided with the sandbag placed on the stage. White House Press Secretary Jean-Pierre also said That Biden is absolutely fine." On returning to the White House, when asked how he fell, Biden said, "I was hit by a sandbag."
