Suicide bomber blast case in Islamabad, 1 policeman dead

Islamabad: The news of the bomb blast is coming out from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. According to the information given by the Islamabad Police, a policeman Adil Hussain has lost his life and some policemen including two civilians are said to be injured in this suicide blast in a vehicle in Islamabad's I-10/4 sector on Friday.

According to Deputy Inspector General of Islamabad Police Sohail Zafar Chatha, police spotted a suspicious vehicle in the area at 10:15 am. When the car stopped near the officers, the occupant of the car detonated a bomb. According to the police, it is a suicide attack. However, the police statement did not specify the number of people in the vehicle. Police have completely stopped the movement of vehicles in this area for the time being and the matter is being investigated.

Immediately after the blast in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned and expressed grief over the killing of the policeman. He has said that we salute the soldiers of Islamabad Police. Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar said that the presence of a suicide bomber in Islamabad indicated that the country was fast moving towards destruction.
