Lucknow: The Sunni Waqf Board will not file a review petition regarding the verdict of the apex court in the Ayodhya Ram temple and Babri Masjid case. The Sunni Waqf Board met on Tuesday. In this meeting, only one member Abdul Razzaq was in favor of filing a review petition. But the board took this decision with a 6-1 majority. There was no conversation about the mosque land in this meeting. In the next meeting there will be talks on the matter of land.

It is noteworthy that on November 9, a bench of five judges of the top court gave a unanimous verdict on the Ayodhya dispute. Rejecting the claim of the Nirmohi Akhara, the apex court considered Ramlala Virajaman and Sunni Waqf Board as parties. The Supreme Court had termed the Allahabad High Court's decision to divide the disputed land into three parties. Finally, the Supreme Court gave a decision in favor of Ramlala Virajman.

The court also ordered that the Sunni Waqf Board should be given 5 acres of land for the mosque at some other place in Ayodhya itself. The court has ordered the central government to form a trust in 3 months for the construction of the temple. The trust has also asked to represent the Nirmohi Akhara.
