No action against those posting on corona, Says Supreme Court- We should listen to public voice

New Delhi: A hearing took place today in the apex court to take automatic cognizance of the issue of the corona epidemic in the country, lack of oxygen, and medicines. During the hearing, the Supreme Court bombarded the questions on the central government. The apex court said during the hearing that we want to clarify that if a citizen files a complaint on social media, it cannot be called wrong information.

At the same time, the apex court said that if such complaints are considered for action, we will treat it as contempt of court. The apex court said there should be no ban on the dissemination of information on coronavirus. Instructions should be issued to the Director Generals of Police to prohibit corona information as contempt of court. The Supreme Court told the Centre that there should be a free flow of information, we should listen to the voice of the people.

The court also said that there should be no bias in the regard that complaints being made by citizens on the Internet are wrong. The Supreme Court found that even doctors and health workers are not getting beds in hospitals. The apex court further said that the situation is bad. The court further said that hostels, temples, churches, and other places should be opened to make covid-19 patient care centres.
