NEW DELHI: Supreme Court has said that it will be considered but it cannot start from tomorrow. Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Govindacharya said that if live streaming cannot take place, video recording of the hearing should be done.

Senior advocate Vikas Singh had filed a petition seeking live streaming of the hearing on behalf of K N Govindacharya in the Ayodhya case. In his petition, K N Govindacharya said that the subject is a matter of faith of the people. Under Article 19(1)A of the Constitution, people have the right to know what is going on in the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi and Babri Masjid controversy.

He said, there are crores of people who have faith in the case but it is not possible for all to be present in the court and watch the hearing of the case. So, through this live streaming, everyone can have first-hand info. On the other hand, the Supreme Court has responded to the plea saying that the demand for live streaming will be considered.
