Switzerland's Feni Smith, who was sent forth due to a wrong decision at the Beijing Olympics, is set to be given third place again. She is also being awarded a bronze medal in the women's ski cross event. On Saturday, the International Sky Federation (FIS) overturned the jury's penalty at the Beijing Olympics, allowing the appeal nine days after the end of the competition.

The FIS has said that the jury's decision was wrong. Smith has been found guilty of contacting other players in a skier event held on February 17, on the basis of which the jury has also shown a yellow card without issuing a warning.

With this, she moved from third place to fourth place. Germany's Daniela Maire, who was currently fourth in the event, has also won the bronze medal. Now because of this new decision, Myer will lose his own medal.
