New Delhi: Team India defeated England by 7 wickets in a warm-up match on Tuesday. India will now play their first T20 World Cup match against Pakistan on October 24. All eyes are on the contest. The match is expected to be very thrilling as both the teams will look to won the match against England.

There is a question in everyone's mind as to which player will be with Team India hitman Rohit Sharma who will start the innings. Team India captain Virat Kohli has now made his stand clear on the opening. He has said that he will come on to bat at number three. Kohli confirmed on Monday that KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma will open the ICC T20 World Cup. While they themselves will bat at No.3. Kohli said it is difficult to look ahead of Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul after his excellent form in the recently concluded IPL 2021.

During the toss before the practice match against England, captain Kohli said, "Things were different before IPL. Now it is difficult to look ahead of KL Rahul at the top order. There is no need to think about Rohit. He is a world class player and he has proved it.''
