After a disappointing ODI series where the Indians were destroyed 3-0 by Australian women’s. It's now time for the latest trend, T20I tri-series. The first of its kind was seen in men's cricket last month and we saw another culminate just a few days back. It's time for women's cricket to embrace this now as England joins hosts India and arch-rivals Australia for this tournament. The two teams from the ODI series will kick-start the tournament with the Aussies unsurprisingly having all the momentum.

But Harmanpreet Kaur and co. will have to deal with Australia, they suffered defeat against Australia in the ODI series. Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana’s contributions with the bat will be crucial once again for India.
