Kabul: As soon as Afghanistan is ruled, the Taliban seems desperate to show its strength to the world. After the display of Black Hawk helicopters during the Victory Lap on the streets of its stronghold Kandahar, they have organized another parade to show military strength. On Wednesday (September 1, 2021), the Taliban organized a victory parade to display looted weapons after the fall of the US-backed National Government of Afghanistan. In the meantime, they placed their suicide belt, car bombs, barrel bombs, and other explosives before the world. It was telecast on Afghanistan's state-run radio-television Afghanistan (RTA).

During the parade, the Taliban also displayed light weapons, heavy weapons, yellow barrels, and car bombs. Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen has said that the weapons will be used to deal with their freedom and the threats of the country. Another video shared by Iranian journalist Tajuddin Soroush saw Taliban fighters impressing elderly Taliban mujahideen leaders with their karate skills. The weapons displayed by the Taliban were looted from Afghan security forces. After the fall of the Afghan government, most of the soldiers had either surrendered or fled with their lives. Their weapons were then seized by the Taliban.
